With the rapid development of information technology, electronic products are no longer just a symbol for youth people, so the website audiences will include almost all populations. I will analysis the target audiences for the following:
Youth: Electronic products will undoubtedly seek after by young people, so these audiences will be a huge crowd category. These people can accept new things very quickly, so they always have a strong interest for electronic products. While most young people do not have a high income (most of them are students or just starting their careers), but they will still be interested for the expensive electronic products and willing to buy them.
People in IT field: these people because of their factors (there career is about IT), so these people regardless of age, will be dependent on electronic products and generate interest in emerging technologies. These people are usually having a high requirement for electronic products, so they will be willing to spend a lot of money to buy the latest electronic products.
Family: A large proportion of these users also. These users are usually not having much interest of the latest electronic products. Yet, because it is a family reason, some suitable electronic products for everyday life will be subject to their favor, such as: digital cameras, GPS, TV, stereo and so on.
The EHobby.com site is both of electronic products and shopping sites, so the basic interface will look simple and professional. The primary color is selected as white, blue and black. These three colors both seem clear and concise, and can be represented for electronic products. The web interface architecture Reference to eBay, the screenshot shows below:
